The Focus team have extensive experience with dune restoration and management. Team member Jim Dahm initiated Beachcare and Coastcare community based dune restoration in New Zealand and is also the primary author of the existing national guidelines for this work and a trustee on Dunes Trust of New Zealand. Team members have provided advice on dune restoration throughout New Zealand, designed and implemented scores of dune restoration projects and are actively involved in dune restoration research and ongoing development of guidelines for this work.
